We are excited to welcome our WIPA Houston Chapter Board of Directors. These Directors are esteemed professionals whose passion for our industry is evident in the work they produce. Their presence in Houston will allow the growth of WIPA so we can continue to bring new standards, education and sense of community to all wedding professionals.

Due to the effects of Hurricane Beryl, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Midsummer Soirée program event, Wednesday, July 10.

It was our great hope to provide a space for our community to come together after the storm, and our Board and generous sponsors made every effort possible to do so. Unfortunately, continued power outages for our sponsors and guests are scheduled to remain in the coming days and the safety of our guests, sponsors, and attendees must be our primary concern.

We want to take a moment to thank our sponsors and our speaker for their incredible support over the last few days, their willingness to work with us in the most difficult of situations, and their generosity in continuing to move forward with us on future events.

For those who were scheduled to attend the event, your tickets will be valid for our rescheduled date, and to those who had made their plans based around this Wednesday event we ask for your understanding at this difficult time. We will be reaching out to every registered guest with a personal email as well, however we are aware that many of our guests are without power, phone, or internet.

Once everyone has recovered from Hurricane Beryl, we will begin the process of rescheduling for our new date, and we will be in touch as soon as we can with updates.

We hope that you and your families remain safe, swiftly recover power, and we invite you to please reach out to us if there is anything at all that we can do to assist as we all navigate the effects of the storm.
