Burgh Brides Celebrates 10th Anniversary: A Decade of Love and Cookie Tables
Burgh Brides, the premier wedding planning resource for those getting married in the Pittsburgh area, proudly announces its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of commitment to helping couples create their dream weddings. Since its inception in 2014, Burgh Brides has grown to become an indispensable guide for soon-to-be newlyweds navigating the exciting journey of wedding planning.
“This anniversary is not just a reflection of our growth as a business, but a celebration of the countless couples and wedding professionals we’ve had the honor of working with,” said Victoria Deardorff, creator and CEO of Burgh Brides. Each wedding we’ve inspired or showcased tells a unique love story, and we are excited to continue this journey together. This is only just the beginning for Burgh Brides, and we can’t wait to see what the next decade brings.”
Launched in 2014, Burgh Brides began as a passion project and creative outlet for creator and CEO Victoria Deardorff. She had a vision for a digital space that would educate and inspire local engaged couples while connecting them with and showcasing Pittsburgh’s most talented wedding vendors. Over 15,000 users a month visit BurghBrides.com for expert wedding planning tips, reliable wedding vendor recommendations, and steal-worthy ideas. In 2019, Burgh Brides was named one of the best local blogs by Pittsburgh City Paper.
In celebration of this milestone, Burgh Brides is hosting a black tie-suggested event on December 4 at Franklin on Penn to thank its loyal clients, partners, readers, and fans. Tickets will be released on November 4. Guests can look forward to live entertainment, elevated cuisine, and interactive experiences. The event will also raise funds for the Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation (HCLF), which improves patient outcomes by funding research, advancing knowledge about HCL among hematologists, and providing patient access to educational resources and peer-to-peer support. Deardorff was diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia in November 2023.
