The WIPA Atlanta chapter hosted their Enlightened Elegance Summer Event at the Signia by Hilton, the gracious venue sponsor, a gathering designed to uplift and connect professionals in a summertime charm setting. This well-received event featured Brian Green, founder of By Brian Green, who is respectfully distinguished as an award-winning event planner and an international industry leader. Known for his commitment to diversity and inclusion and Immediate Past Chair of the NSBWE, Brian Green delivered a noteworthy presentation titled “Emotional Intelligence: Harnessing Emotions for Effective Business Leadership.”

The event offered invaluable networking opportunities, and as commented by our WIPA National Vice-President, Jacqueline Vizcaino, she looked out to the audience with appreciation to the board for fostering a sense of community that was evident by the diverse group of wedding professionals as both sponsors and attendees that was indeed reflective of the Atlanta market as it looks and feels today. The support of legacy members and previous chapter leaders was heartwarming. All were connected with no interest in comparison but to uplift each other and the Atlanta community.
Lastly, let’s acknowledge the visiting members from the National Board and other chapters, such as WIPA SoCal and WIPA Houston, and even future members relocating from places like Michigan and Nashville.
