2027 Chapter Call for Leaders

WIPA's Mission

Our mission is to foster excellence in the wedding industry through comprehensive education, dynamic networking opportunities, and valuable resource offerings.

Lead Your Chapter Forward

WIPA chapters are where members build real relationships, share ideas, and stay connected to the wedding industry in their local market.

Chapter leaders help create those experiences through thoughtful events, meaningful education, sponsor support, member engagement, and a welcoming sense of community.

The Chapter Board Call for Leaders is an opportunity for members to step forward and help shape the year ahead for their local chapter. Whether you are organized, creative, strategic, relationship-driven, detail-focused, or energized by bringing people together, there is a place for your strengths in chapter leadership.

The application process will be open August 31 and close on September 30.

About the Chapter Call for Leaders

The Chapter Board Call for Leaders is WIPA’s annual process for identifying members who are ready to serve in chapter leadership positions.

Chapter leaders help create the local WIPA experience. They plan meaningful programs, welcome new members, support sponsors, strengthen communication, build community, and keep the chapter moving with care and accountability.

This process is designed to help chapters build strong, balanced boards with leaders whose experience, perspective, and strengths align with the needs of the chapter and its members.

Chapter Board Positions

For a more detailed profile of each position and to see where you might fit, please review the Chapter Leadership Role Profiles below.

Chapter board positions may vary by chapter, but may include:

Members are encouraged to review the available positions for their chapter and consider where their experience can make the greatest impact.

What to Prepare Before Applying

Before beginning your application, please be prepared to share information about your chapter involvement, leadership experience, areas of interest, and the chapter board position or positions you would like to be considered for.

Applicants should also be ready to share why they are interested in serving, how they hope to contribute, and what strengths they would bring to their chapter board.

You do not need to have held a board position before to raise your hand. Strong chapter leaders are often the members who show up consistently, follow through, build relationships, and care about creating a stronger experience for others.

The application will also include acknowledgment of WIPA’s NDA (must be completed at the time of applying), Code of Ethics (must be completed at the time of applying), and Leadership Code of Ethics (please read).
